Fall is such a fun time for fashion. Because it's still warm out, you can get away with wearing summer styles. And when you get those cooler days, especially cooler mornings or evenings, you can add in some heavier pieces from your wardrobe. Below are a few outfits that work well for those transitional days from summer to fall.
Outfit One-
Fashion rules: be gone! There are no rules or limitations on what can be worn or when you can wear it (within reason to time and place). For the first outfit, white skinny jeans were chosen as the base. We paired our white skinnies jeans with a short sleeve woven blouse. The colors are light and airy for late August/September. And you can add a cardigan if it gets a little cool. The look was finished with white mules (but nude mules or flats would look great, too).
Outfit Two-
For outfit two, we chose an ankle pants look with a monochromatic color palette. Olive ankle pants were paired with an olive tank top. To add another layer, an olive waffle knit cardigan was added to create a “3-piece set.” Completing the look, natural colored espadrilles that tie around the ankle were worn. When the weather gets colder, put on a scarf and a pair of boots or booties for warmth.
Outfit Three-
With the third outfit, taupe colored lightweight, wide-leg pants were worn. To give the outfit a fall feel, we paired the pants with a long sleeve camel colored sweater. Lastly, to tie the look together, leopard print flats were worn.
