Concert Outfit Ideas: what to wear to a concert

For fun, I like to go to concerts or go out and listen to live music. The legendary soul band Frankie Beverly and Maze are coming to the Twin Cities and my mom and I have tickets! I work a lot. So, I love an opportunity to get dressed up and go out. Since I will be attending the concert, and need to figure out what I’ll be wearing, I thought it would be both fun and helpful to style some concert outfits for the blog. For my look, I’m envisioning something chic, a little dressy, but most of all- comfortable!

I’ve settled on four outfits. The looks consist of a mix of SUG items and personal items. I hope you all will find inspiration for your next concert!

For my first outfit, I chose the Kestra Bell Sleeve Top in leopard, worn on-the-shoulder. I really liked Kestra on-the-shoulder vs. off-the-shoulder for this look. It made it feel more polished. I styled Kesta with a pair of dark wash skinny jeans from my personal collection. I wore a pair of caged heeled booties, and my black bag (also from my personal collection) to round out the look. For accessories, I chose our brushed finish Gold Hoop Earrings from SUG Boutique.

For my second concert outfit, I opted for our Erica Wide Leg Jeans. I styled Erica with a belted white button down tunic top with puffy sleeves (personal collection). For shoes, I chose a pair of white kitten heel sandals with metallic embellishments. Lastly, I finished the look with our brushed finish Gold Hoop Earrings and a metallic bag.

I chose our Latitude Striped Kimono with our Onyx High Waist Faux Leather Leggings, and a black bodysuit for my third outfit. Although Latitude is colorful, I wanted to make the outfit pop, so I styled it with my red cloth booties. For my bag, I chose a fun rhinestone and studded envelope clutch and Silver Hoop earrings from SUG Boutique.

The last concert look is this red dress from my closet. I love this dress for its fit and simplicity. However, I wanted to make it more edgy. I chose to wear it with black booties. Then, I went very heavy on the accessories. I love accessories, especially earrings and bracelets. So, to edge up the dress, I used bangles and tassel earrings that I already have. For my bag, I chose this fun, furry fanny pack worn as a clutch.
